Interesting PlayStation 5 Games to look forward to!

This year has seen many surprises from both Nintendo and Mircosoft with games coming out later this year. But what about Sony’s Playstation 5? Is there anything exciting for it now or later on? If you’re PlayStation 5 owner or trying to get one then here are some games that might interest you to play now or later. Now, only time will tell if these PlayStation 5 games are good or not, but hopefully they’re worth getting.

Demon’s Souls (2020)

Now this game is a remake of a 2009 game of the same name that helps to improve the gameplay and is completely rework. The game is praise for giving the players new weapon upgrades like like the Reaper Scythe, which was available as a pre-order bonus. The game is more balance now limiting the number of grass healing consumables you can carry. Also, it loads faster and has new a camera system that can filters the game to be green or darker. Even though may feel short at times, it still worth checking out if you’re a big Souls fan or curious in general.

Here useful information about the change made in the game.’s+Souls+Remake

Final Fantasy XVI (TDA)

Now I don’t know if Square Enix will release Final Fantasy XVI on different platforms, but as for right now it seems like a PlayStation 5 exclusive. Little is known about this title, but what we do know is that it’s set in a Fictional land called Valisthea, which is a continent with six factions that are on conflict with each other. The main character include Clive Rosfield who is the firstborn child of the Archduke Of Rosaria who goes on a quest for revenge after seeing the tragic of events unfold with the dark Eikon Ifrit. The game seems like it will play similarly to Final Fantasy VII Remake with action oriented gameplay. The game does not have a official release date.

Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart (2021)

Ratchet and Clank been around since the PS2 era, but still manages to capture the heart of 3D platformers. The game borrows many elements from Ratchet and Clank 2016 and other games in the series including weapons upgrades like getting bolts, managing gunplay and health upgrades. However, they’re several new aspects of the games that makes it a little different like real time travel events between different areas and sometime worlds. The character Ratchet and Rivet has the ability to perform the move called “Rift Tether” which allows them to create portals through different points of the world. You will also be doing a lot of dashing and wall running as well to get from other points of the map. The game features great accessibility, which made it critically acclaim and a must have for a Ps5 owner.

God of War Untitled Ragnarok (2022)

God of War is coming back to the PS5 in 2022 with a new adventure following Kratos and his son Atreus following the events that happened in the last game where an impending Ragnarok is set into motion. Even though it will be release on the PS4 the title will definitely test the limits and capabilities of the PS5. There’s not much to show as the game has been delay from the 2021 release date due the COVID-19 pandemic, but there is a teaser trailer. Hopefully more information will come to light at a later date.

Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut (2021)

The Ghost of Tsushima was a great game that was released on the PS4 last year. The game feature a character name Jin Sakai who is a samurai travelling on a quest to protect the Tsushima Islands against the Mongol. It an open world game where the player is in a third person perspective doing stealth action going back and forth through different parts of the island on a horse. Additional content of the game will include Jin visiting the Iki Island and PS5 support like 3D audio and faster loading speed. The director cut of the game will be release only on the PS5 on August 20, 2021.

Gran Turismo 7 (2022)

Another game that is being release for the PS4 and PS5, but is testing the capabilities of the PS5 is Gran Turismo 7. The game was announced last year at the PlayStation 5 reveal event showing it being slightly similar to Gran Turismo 4. The game will return the GT Simulation mode making it have long single player campaign features. It also has many other features coming back as well like additional racing tracks and vehicles, special events, Championship and a lot more for the players experience.

The game is to be release in 2022.

Horizon Forbidden West (2021)

A sequel to the game Horizon Zero Dawn, Forbidden West will be an open world post apocalyptic game that is on the PS4 and PS5. The player will be controlling Aloy through dangerous machines in California, Nevada and Utah. The map will be larger than the previous game fill with several secrets including the ruins of San Francisco and Yosemite Valley. It will also have the player do underwater exploration uncovering the secrets beneath the surface of the water. It will also improve the climbing mechanic, melee combat and travelling options with the addition of new tools like the Shieldwing, Focus Scanner, Diving mask and Pullcaster. The game is slated to be release later this year, but with no official release date.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales (2020)

Spider-Man Miles Morales is base on the African American version of Spider Man dealing with his struggles to balance his duties as being a hero. Also, he has to deal with a new threat harming his home town Harlem, which is a war against the Roxxon Energy Corporation and the Tinkerer’s criminal army the underground. The gameplay is in third person perspective similar to the 2018 game Spider Man. The player has the options to undertake missions that are happening all across New York City.
