GTA has been a game that fans have been waiting a sequel for a long time. The gap between GTA V and VI release date is wide as people have joked that by the time GTA VI comes out they would have already had children of their own. While fear not GTA fans, Rockstar has finally announced GTA VI! Here’s what we know so far about it!
Development
GTA VI began as early as 2018 as full on production started on 2020. This phase of development was to build and test the AI(NPCs) behavior and using the motion capture on the actor portraying their role in the game. By 2024, the game was now playable however, more testing was involve to see how the game plays or if there was any glitches that needed to be address. They delayed the game for this soul reason to see if the graphic and the game ran perfect before release. They finally released another trailer giving the official release date to be May 26, 2026. The game costed over 1 billon to 2 billon dollars to make making it the most expensive games in history.
Story
GTA VI will be taking place in a fictional U.S state of Leonida in Vice City, which is base on the state of Florida. The main characters will be Jason Dural and Lucia Caminos who’re a criminal duo base on Bonnie and Clyde. Jason works for a local drug runners after his time in the army and Lucia was imprison after fighting for her family in Liberty City. Other characters that are in the game includes Cal Hampton, Boobie Ike, Dre’Quan, Bae-Luxe and Roxy, Real Dimez and Brian Heder. All these characters in the game plays a big role in the main characters development and the theme of the story, which is to find bigger ambitions, greed and exploring trust in their relationship to find a life of luxury.
Gameplay
Even though Rockstar themselves have stated that there was gameplay shown in the trailer, one can only ponder if this is true or not. Like take this scene from the trailer for example, many seems to think that this is not a gameplay scene however, judging from the angle and shoot that this was taken in, this could indeed be a real gameplay footage of Lucia blowing up police’s cars. If that the case, graphically, GTA VI might be the most powerful and prettiest game ever produce. But one can only wonder, what do you guys think?
